Our client wanted a beautiful sky, rainbows, treetops, sun rays and a Bible verse painted on the walls surrounding their indoor playground.
This was a fun and interesting project. Our client has a built-in whirlpool bath, and wanted the walls to reflect their love for tropical beaches. One picture of the finished project is shown below, and you can view the rest of them on our Facebook page. “Like” us when you stop by!
Happy New Year and God Bless You!
I thought we’d start the new year off by posting pictures of a project we did for Belmont United Methodist Church.
The church started a Contemporary service in an upper story gym auditorium, and they wanted the stage to become their focus for worship. They wanted the old rugged cross, and for me to incorporate a dove from a necklace they showed me. We decided to paint an “Easter Sunday Sunrise” behind it, interwoven with grapevines. The room was very old, with beige and orange linoleum on the floor, orange curtains and aqua tile walls. My challenge was to incorporate all the colors and make it look like it was all put together like that originally. I painted the “surround” as marble -incorporating the burnt orange color of the curtain. The second photo shows a close up of the marble. The third photo shows the finished project (I had to come back at a later date and pain the two beige panels to match the sky and grapevines.)
Look forward to your comments about this project!
